CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE

Chocolate Overload Time!

This recipe is the perfect one for all my chocolate lovers out there! 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

A little more than 3/4 cup of milk

Pinch of salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

Pinch of baking soda

2 tbsp melted butter

2 tbsp oil

8 pieces of chocolate

Perfect for all chocolate lovers!

The Classic

1. Oil your muffin tin or oil your muffin liners. You can also use a ramekin. Mix some cocoa powder and sugar in a 1:1 ratio. Dust the muffin tins or ramekins. Preheat your oven to 350 F.

2. Sift in your flour and cocoa powder. Add your sugar, salt, baking soda, baking powder. Whisk well.

3. Add in your melted butter and oil while whisking. Gradually, add in your milk, little bit at a time. The mixture should be quite liquid-y.

4. Slowly, pour in your batter. Add a few pieces of chocolate in each muffin well / ramekin. You can wipe off the cocoa powder of muffin wells that aren't filled with batter. If you don't, you'll end up with burnt cocoa powder, but that will easily come off with some water. I was able to make 4 big lava cakes. 

5. Bake at 350 F for 8-10 mins. Make sure the inside is still soft!
