Healthy Peanut Butter Cookies

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius.

2. In a bowl, mash your banana. We're using a ripe banana because they are naturally sweet and then we can cut down on the sugar. Add the sugar. Mix well.

3. Add in the peanut butter. Add in more peanut butter if you don't like a little banana aftertaste. Continue whisking. You can also use a hand mixer but if you want to burn some calories, why not do it by hand.

4. Depending on the consistency of your dough, add in some flour or rolled oats. Bananas will make this cookie really soft and moist and if you like crunchier cookies, definitely add a little more than 1/3 cup of flour or rolled oats.

5. Add in your baking soda with the flour.

6. Chill the dough for about an hour. Roll out little circles and place them on a cookie sheet.

7. Use a fork to make decorative indents. Take some chopped peanuts and decorate the top. You can also fold them into the batter.

8. Bake for 8-10 minutes. 8 minutes for soft cookies and 10 minutes for chewier cookies. Let cool for 5 minutes for the cookie to harden up a little.

9. Enjoy!
