Molten Nutella Buns
1. Scoop out 1/4 cup Nutella and put it in a bowl. Make sure you mix it thoroughly so that the oil and chocolate are combined. Cover with plastic wrap and put it into your refrigerator for an hour.
2. After an hour, let's start on the dough. Measure out your flour and add it into a bowl. Then, add 2 teaspoons of sugar.
3. In a separate bowl, measure out 1/4 cup warm water and add 1/2 teaspoon yeast. Mix well.
4. Now, add the yeast and water mixture into the flour. Use a spoon to help shape the dough and then go in with your hands. Add more water the dough is dry.
5. When the dough is still a little sticky, add a teaspoon of cocoa powder. Knead until well combined.
6. Cover and rest in a bigger bowl for 2 hours.
7. On your work surface, sprinkle a good amount of flour. Take your dough out and start kneading the air out. Then, roll it into a long log and use a knife and cut into small pieces.
8. Roll each small piece to be a circle with the help of your hands and a rolling pin.
9. Take your Nutella out of the fridge and cut it into squares. Then, take some of the squares out and place in the middle of the circle you made with your dough.
10. Pinch all the sides together so that the Nutella doesn't seep out when we steam it.
11. Take a piece of parchment paper and flour it. Place the bun/baozi with Nutella inside on the parchment paper.
12. Steam for 10 ish minutes. I steamed mine on medium high heat until the water boiled and then turned down to low heat. After a few more minutes, I turned off the heat but let the pot continue sitting on the heat.
13. After it's cooled, take it out and enjoy!!
