Red Bean Paste
1. Rinse red beans under water. If you are using a pot, I highly suggest you soak the red beans in filtered water overnight.
2. Add the red beans into your pressure cooker. Pour in 2.5x the amount of beans of water. Using the bean/chili button, cook for the amount of time given.
3. Cool and let the pressure cooker vent. Pour the beans and water into a sieve. We only need the beans!
4. Mash the beans using your spoon for a rough paste or a food processor/blender for a smoother paste.
5. You can already eat it now and add a little sugar. My recipe calls for a thicker paste so I'll fry this.
6. Fry on low heat until it becomes a thicker paste.
7. Add in some sugar halfway through. You can adjust this based on your taste.
8. Enjoy!
